The newly reconstructed museum building is located in the family house with the number 57 in Diváky, where both Mršt'ci actually lived and where they wrote their most famous works. Alois worked as a teacher in the local school, Vilém often travelled between Diváky and Prague, but spent more time in the Moravian countryside. In 1963, on the occasion of the centenary of Alois Mrštík's birth, a small museum was opened in their house. It was open to the public until 2018, when extensive reconstruction began. After several years of reconstruction, visitors can once again visit the Mrštík Brothers Memorial in Diváky from 2021. Visitors can look forward to an exhibition that combines the best of both worlds - tradition and modern technology, the Moravian countryside and the Prague literary café, the dream world of the two brothers and their everyday reality, a classic museum exhibition and modern technology.
