Pilzen Urban Transport Company (PMDP) is the main operator of public transport (tram, trolleybus and bus services) in Pilzen. The company grows together with public transport in the city. It started with tramways, with Trolleybuses added later (1941) and then finally the buses. The company employs 1,160 workers to run 43 lines of all three transport services which annually service over 100 million passengers.
