The library provides basic library services in three departments - for adults, children and a reading room, which also has a music department. The library also has three branches in urban areas Skřečoň, Záblatí and Bohumín. The library hosts regular meetings and public lectures, activities for children, exhibitions. Library also provides educational services to the public in the form of regular courses of computers, psychology, photography and English. The library also operates a virtual antiquarian shop and sells vignettes.
