Families, skiers and freeriders will find excellent conditions for a perfect holiday in the Ankogel resort in Mallnitz.
The Ankogel cable car is located in the High Tauern National Park, at the end of the village of Mallnitz and approximately 30 km from the Mölltal Gletscher ski resort. Not for nothing is Mallnitz one of the selected "pearls of the Alps".
In Ankogel you will find almost 18 kilometres of slopes for skiing and snowboarding. The Ankogel cable car takes you up to 2,637 metres above sea level in two stages. You will not only be rewarded with an incredible Alpine panorama - the ski area is ideal for passionate skiers and families with children. In addition to downhill skiing, the various freeride options at Ankogel also attract fans of deep snow. When the weather is bad on the Mölltal Glacier, the Ankogel is a great alternative for skiing. The winter season here usually starts in the second half of December and lasts until spring.
The Kinderland and Köfele lifts are located right at the lower station of the Ankogel cable car. The ski school offers beginners and novice skiers comprehensive support for their first attempts on skis. The ski school's mascot "Snowy" also supports children on their first turns.
