Comenius Museum in Prague was established in 1892. It is one of the oldest museums in the Czech Republic. The museum is an important research and resource center focused on the history of Czech education, pedagogy, teachers and educatedness, referring to the life, work and legacy of John Amos Comenius. Since 1991, it has been administred by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic. The museum is a part of an institution called the National Pedagogical Museum and Library of J. A. Comenius. Open: Tue-Sun 10 - 12,30 and 13 t- 17.
