Hrad Krakovec (Krakovec Castle)

Krakovec Castle stretches across an elongated promontory surrounded by two brooks. It represents a highlight of the development of Czech castle architecture from the 14th century. The construction is the development intermediary of the transition between a fort and a castle. Krakovec therefore had more character than a Gothic castle and the castle filling the needs and requirements for comfortable housing, which to this day remains attest to the original, spatially arranged and vault elements.
