Zámek Žleby

The Žleby castle was founded as a gothic fortress by the Lichtenburk family in 1289, and was rebuilt after the Hussites war in the second half of 15th century. It was reconstructed in renaissance and baroque style. The last great reconstruction in was from 1849-68, managed by Karel Vincenc Auersperg. You can find old historical relics or copies of old relics moved to Žleby castle from all over Europe.
